Chicago Fire Actor Reveals Brett’s Many Bridal Dresses Ahead Of Her & Casey’s Wedding

Ahead of her wedding to Matt Casey, Sylvie Brett actor Kar Killmer shows off her character’s many wedding dresses in Chicago Fire season 12.

Kara Killmer shows off Brett’s many dresses for her and Casey’s wedding in Chicago Fire season 12. Firehouse 51 is looking to celebrate another couple not even two years after Severide and Kidd tied the knot. This time, Brett and Casey are set to walk down the aisle in the Windy City after their engagement in the Chicago Fire season 11 finale. No specific date has been announced, but Killmer’s new social media post is further building hype around the upcoming occasion.

On Twitter, Killmer shares several images of her wearing Brett’s potential wedding dress in Chicago Fire season 12. Check out the photos below:

The post shows Killmer wearing six wedding gowns, presumably all contenders for her official one. In the caption, she asks viewers for their input about which dress they like the most.

Will Brett and Casey Actually Get Married In Chicago Fire Season 12?

CHICAGO FIRE The Magnificent City of Chicago Episode 10x22 Kara Killmer as Sylvie Brett Jesse Spencer as Casey

When it was announced that Killmer was exiting Chicago Fire, it became clear that the best way to write out her character was to have her move with Casey to Portland, Oregon. NBC and One Chicago are sticking to this straightforward road, but it admittedly feels way too easy, considering the franchise’s penchant for pulling off tragic plot twists. Between this and co-showrunner Andrea Newman’s ominous warning about plans going awry for Brett, there have recently been doubts about whether the said wedding will pan out.

For context, Jesse Spencer is already confirmed to make an appearance in Chicago Fire season 12. So if they end up splitting again, it won’t be over the phone like in the previous season. However, in the bigger scheme of things, there’s really no reason for One Chicago to spoil the upcoming wedding. As previously mentioned, it’s the best and easiest way to write out Killmer, while also giving Firehouse 51 a reason to celebrate — something that they haven’t had in quite a while.

Just because the wedding will likely happen doesn’t mean that the road to it will be easy. The trials and tribulations that Brett may face leading up to it could make the payoff so much sweeter. In any case, Brett is confirmed to be in a good chunk of Chicago Fire season 12, meaning there’s still time left for her character to progress before ultimately ending her stint at Firehouse 51.
