We’re about to see a whole lot more of the WSB.
Now that Josslyn is deep into the WSB on General Hospital, she’s about to get a handsome handler played by Bryce Durfee.
Welcoming Agent Vaughn
Soap Opera Digest was first to report that Durfee will play Vaughn opposite Eden McCoy’s Josslyn as her WSB handler. Durfee makes his GH debut on Friday, March 7, and had a lot to share about his new role.
“I was anxious in the sense that I didn’t know what to expect because I knew the soap world moves fast,” the actor shared with SOD about his first day on set. “That first day was just a whirlwind! I kind of felt like I got thrown into a washing machine, and I got spit out an hour later.”
While Durfee’s resume includes roles on shows like Last Man Standing, Yellowstone, and 9-1-1, he now joins a long list of notable WSB agents on GH. The latest is Port Charles Station Chief Brennan, who is now played by Chris McKenna.
Durfee took to Instagram to share the good news, writing, “Not really sure how the cat got in the bag… either way, it’s out.” The post was met with a comment from McCoy, who simply shared a devil emoji.
The Chase is On
The actor also revealed to SOD that Vaughn wasn’t the first GH character he auditioned for. In 2018, Durfee auditioned for the role of Chase, played by Josh Swickard, who Durfee said he knew from his time as a model.
“It was down to me, Josh, and I think a third guy,” Durfee remembered. “And the best man got it! Josh is absolutely fantastic, and I was really excited to run into him on set recently.”
