Luna’s dream came true in the wildest way.
The Bold and the Beautiful recap for March 4 saw a moment of father/daughter bonding for Finn and Luna, Steffy deciding her future, and Hope calling out her man.
What Happened Today On The Bold and the Beautiful?
Finn’s (Tanner Novlan) announcement shocked Luna (Lisa Yamada). How is this possible? How is her cousin really her father? She was disgusted to hear about her cousin and her mom but she was relieved her father was a good man and not a rock star. Finn explained that he was lied to and had no idea. He just found out she is his daughter and it was time for her to also learn the truth.
Finn relayed the whole sordid tale. He and Poppy slept together when he was 18, she admitted to the pregnancy but lied about the baby’s paternity. He had no idea until now. Luna was furious. This is just like Poppy. She always takes what she wants and screws it all up and leaves her mess for someone else to clean up. Oh, how different her life could have been had she and Finn known this whole time. Finn promised to never leave her behind. They know the truth now and there’s no going back.
Is Love Worth All This?
Meanwhile, at the Cliff House, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) came over just in time to hear Taylor (Rebecca Budig) begging Steffy (Jaqueline MacInnes Wood) to pack her bags and move her and the kids to the family home. Then, he heard the reason why. Finn has a grown daughter he just found out about. Oh, and that daughter just so happened to be his cousin. The same cousin who tried to kill her just a few months ago. Ridge was nearly too stunned to speak.
Much like Taylor, Ridge didn’t like this at all. He agreed that Steffy wasn’t safe in her marriage. Yes, she and Finn love each other, but it’s only a matter of time before he’ll want his daughter around. They can’t imagine losing another child! Ultimately, though, Steffy shut them down. She was staying in her marriage. There was no way she was going to leave Finn for things that weren’t his fault.
Calling Out Carter
Carter (Lawrence Saint-Victor) treaded carefully when Hope (Annika Noelle) came into the office, especially when she started mentioning Daphne Rose (Murielle Hilaire). Carter tried to play it cool, but once Hope picked up the choker, he realized he couldn’t just sweep it all under the rug. He took her into his arms and made an impassioned plea about how he was trying hard to be a different man – a better man – than her exes. He then told her Daphne Rose was going home because she kissed him.
Hope didn’t hold back. She dropped the bomb that she saw the kiss. Nay, not just the smooch. She saw everything.
Across the hall, Daphne Rose was reminiscing about her kiss with Carter (and how she fell for him) while she got to packing. Zende came in to talk ask about setting up a meeting and noticed her bag. Daphne Rose explained she was leaving town. Today. Now. ASAP. Zende was floored and immediately tried to talk her out of taking flight. It didn’t take him long to realize she was heading home because of Carter.
