An Episode Guide to Antenna TV’s Labor Day Weekend 2023 ‘Three’s Company’ Marathon
Antenna TV comes knocking on your door over Labor Day Weekend 2023 — Saturday, Sept. 2 through Monday, Sept. 4 — with an event the network is calling its “Three’s Company Three-Day Weekend.”

Beginning at 10am ET on Sept. 2 and concluding at 10pm ET on Sept. 4, the marathon features 60 hours of episodes from the classic 1977-84 sitcom Three’s Company.

It kicks off with the pilot episode, “A Man About the House” (which was also the title of the 1973-76 British sitcom on which this series was based) and concludes with the two-part series finale “Friends and Lovers,” which also launched the very short-lived, and not nearly as good, 1984-85 spinoff Three’s a Crowd.
Three’s Company followed the wacky shenanigans surrounding a single guy and two single women sharing an apartment in Southern California. Receiving one Emmy nod for Outstanding Comedy Series, the show was highlighted by often farcical situations, frequently based on misunderstandings, mistaken identities, sexual innuendo or all of the above.

It was led over its entire eight-season run by John Ritter — who received three Emmy nominations, winning once, for his consistently hilarious, and often slapstick/physical performance as Jack Tripper — and Joyce DeWitt as Janet Wood.
Suzanne Somers played the third roommate, Chrissy Snow, until 1982, followed by replacement blonde roomies Jenilee Harrison as Chrissy’s cousin, Cindy Snow, then Priscilla Barnes as nurse Terri Alden, in later years.

Initially, the landlords for the trio’s apartment building were the Ropers, Stanley and Helen, played by Norman Fell and Audra Lindley. They left at the end of Season 3 to headline their own very short-lived spinoff, The Ropers (1979-80), with Don Knotts then coming onboard Three’s Company as new landlord Ralph Furley.

Antenna’s marathon is mostly not in any particular order, aside from beginning with the pilot episode and concluding with the series finale). The pattern for each day consists of 10 hours of episodes, followed by a 10-hour repeat of those episodes, so if you’re not up early enough to see some of your favorites, don’t worry; you can catch them later in the day.
