America’s Got Talent fans rage over ‘waste of time’ after episode with ‘bad’ acts

America’s Got Talent fans have seemingly had enough when it comes to the show after the 19th season has failed to impress.

While fans were happy with some acts, including ones Simon Cowell himself called a “level up” from previous similar ones, overall, fans have continually expressed disappointment throughout the current season.
They have booed the judges over their decisions, warning them to “leave” the show, and have also expressed concern about the fact that the show doesn’t feature solely American acts, when there are other international versions of the show.

However, the fifth night of auditions proved to raise more ire than anything else from fans.

Fans expressed their furor on social media as the acts on the show proved to be some of the most disappointing yet.

America's Got Talent

The first portion of the episode featured a look at acts that didn’t make it through to the next round, including ones that received x’s from each judge, meaning they were definitively not moving forward.

Among them were acts featuring a man singing while dressed like an owl, a woman telling jokes while dressed like a tiger, a man talking about Goat vs. Fish, and brothers from Japan with a skit about things beginning with the letter T.

However, fans were not impressed.

“This season sucks,” one viewer wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “The good acts are bad and the bad acts aren’t even funny bad it’s just sad bad.”

“That first 10 minutes was a joke. This is the type of night we’re in for?” another asked.

“Why do the producers allow this crap through? It’s not fun,” another commented.

“Waste of time,” another added.

New episodes of America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays on NBC.
