The CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless is set to air a very special episode devoted to romance later this month.
Focused on three of the linchpin couples of the soap opera, the special episode airing May 21, 2025, will celebrate the couples’ enduring romances.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will celebrate their on again, off again, romance of the ages as they express hope that their own loved ones will one day find lasting love of their own.
Victor and Nikki have been on and off since they first met each other in 1981. Despite the roadblocks that they have had to overcome, be it other partners, children, medical issues, or jail time, the two have surpassed it all and found a way forward together. The two share two children together, Victoria and Nicholas, and ten grandchildren: Cassie Newman, Noah Newman, Claire Grace, Summer Newman, Reed Hellstrom, Faith Newman, Johnny Abbott, Katie Newman, Connor Newman and Christian Newman.
Meanwhile, Victor’s attorney Michael Baldwin (Christian J. LeBlanc) proves to his wife Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) that there is absolutely nothing more important than their relationship.
Michael and Lauren began their relationship back in 2005. Although both having previously found love, it wasn’t until they found each other that they truly understood what love was. Despite having a complicated relationship, the two are stronger than ever. The couple shares an adult son, Fenmore Baldwin.
Elsewhere, Victor’s nemesis Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) surprises his longtime love Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) with a special gift to celebrate and show his thanks for her work renovating the Abbott Mansion.
Jack and Diane’s relationship began back in 1982. The two have had a tough relationship with Jack’s history of infidelity causing the largest hurdles. They have continually found their way back to each other time and time again. With their most recent reunion even cheating death. The two share a son Kyle Abbott together and a grandson Harrison Newman-Abbott.
