America’s sweetheart Jennifer Aniston may be breaking the hearts of many, as the actress has revealed why she won’t accept one particular type of role following her 10-year stint in Friends.
Aniston first rose to international fame for her role as Rachel Green on television sitcom Friends from 1994 to 2004, starring alongside David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, and the late Matthew Perry.
The show proved so iconic that, decades later, we still find ourselves discussing if Rachel and Ross actually were on a break (they were), or if Rachel and Joey really should have gotten together (they shouldn’t have).
The hit series recently marked its 30th anniversary – in turn not only making us all feel old, but also reminding us of the emotional rollercoaster felt while watching the six friends navigate relationships, careers, friendships, love, loss and parenthood while living in Manhattan, New York City.
But for anyone hoping to get their fix of Aniston in something similar, she’s admitted she’d be reluctant to star in another sitcom because of her 10-year experience on the set of our beloved Friends.
“If I knew it would be the same experience as I had with those guys, yes, but I doubt that will ever happen,” Aniston said a few years back on the SmartLess podcast.
