Will The Final Episode Of “NCIS” Season 22 Be A Death Race? New Trailer Leaves Fans Restless

The “Nexus” storyline has all been leading up to this. NCIS Season 22 has been teasing the “Nexus” throughout the previous Season 22 episodes, with Gabriel LaRoche (Seamus Dever) in particular facing a huge season arc that saw damning evidence in Episode 17 completely changing the game. Now, after all the season’s typical twists and turns, just one episode remains, and, based on the promo available to watch below, it is simply unmissable.

Aptly titled “Nexus,” NCIS Season 22, Episode 20 has all the makings of a classic finale for one of network television’s finest procedurals. With gunfire, action, and even a slice of humor all packed into a short ten-second clip, the fast-paced Season 22 looks to be going out with a bang. The episode is set to air live on CBS on Monday, May 5, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Can’t watch it live? Fear not, as Paramount+ will host the finale the day after it airs, with Paramount+ with SHOWTIME subscribers getting the chance to stream live and catch the episode on-demand. The synopsis for NCIS Season 22, Episode 20 reads:

“As NCIS investigates a dangerous connection between the Nexus cartel and Parker’s longtime nemesis, mob boss Carla Marino, the team uncovers a high-stakes plot involving stolen nuclear material. With time running out, Parker is forced into an uneasy alliance that could determine the fate of the operation – and his own future, on the 22nd season finale of the CBS Original series NCIS”

A New ‘NCIS’ Spin-Off Arrives This Fall

It’s always comforting knowing that, upon the airing of your favorite show’s finale episode, the series has been renewed to return. This is how NCIS fans feel, with the show officially renewed for a 23rd season back in February, alongside its two offshoots, NCIS: Origins and NCIS: Sydney. However, there is even more to rejoice about for fans of the franchise, with two of the best-loved characters, Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, reuniting on-screen for the first time in twelve years in their very own spin-off, NCIS: Tony and Ziva. Set to arrive this fall on Paramount+, Tony and Ziva marks a hugely exciting new chapter in the NCIS saga, with the titular duo going on the run across Europe after Tony’s security company becomes the target of a coordinated attack. As time ticks closer to this new spin-off’s release, more announcements are likely to be made.
