Jamie Dornan recently promoted the film Fifty Shades: Darker on The Graham Norton Show on February 10. The 34-year-old British actor made his colleagues and the audience laugh out loud with his behind-the-scenes revelations about filming sex scenes. Jamie confessed that every time he and co-star Dakota Johnson film sex scenes, he often brings out his sense of humor to the fullest so that both of them feel comfortable.
“There’s a lot more sex in the second part,” Dornan said. “My ability is to always try to make Dakota laugh. That’s when after every moment we do the orgasm scene, I often make funny noises like ‘Doo doo doo dah do’!”
Jamie and Dakota have acted together throughout the 3 parts of Fifty Shades of Grey in the past 3 years. Therefore, Jamie confided that both of them were quite comfortable with sensitive scenes: “Dakota and I are very close. We are good friends and I think that made it easier for us to film.”
During the interview, Jamie also revealed a funny story about the unexpected effect of the sex scenes in the movie on a female fan. After watching part 1, she miraculously became pregnant after many years of unsuccessful attempts. “Once when I was in an elevator, a woman recognized me and exclaimed: Oh my God, you’re Jamie Dornan! For 4 years, my husband and I had been trying to have a baby, we even used in vitro fertilization without success. But then after watching your movie, we had a baby naturally . After hearing her story, I didn’t know how to react,” Jamie laughed as she recounted.
Part 2 of Fifty Shades hits North American theaters on February 10, promising to be a hot movie that attracts audiences during Valentine’s Week.
