Loewe’s summer collection is inspired by Paula’s, a popular tourist destination on the island of Ibiza. The photos were taken on the sand in Comporta, Portugal, by photographer Gray Sorrenti. Participating in this campaign are ambassadors and international actors and artists including: brand ambassador Giselle – member of the band Aespa, actors Sophie Wilde, Enzo Vogrincic and Jamie Dornan. In the photo, the 50 Shades actor is wearing a brown Loewe Puzzle Fold tote bag made of leather with the brand’s signature geometric pattern.
Jamie’s romantic look with curly chestnut brown hair is considered by the brand to be suitable for the dynamic, youthful spirit of this Paula’s Ibiza collection.
Jamie Dornan rose to fame after receiving an Irish Film and Television Award for Best Actor and a BAFTA Television Award nomination for his role as a serial killer in the film The Fall . In 2021, he starred in Kenneth Branagh’s Belfast , which earned him Golden Globe and Critics’ Choice Award nominations. The artists present wore designs inspired by the beach, the transitional moments of the day such as sunset and sunrise, clearly reflecting the daily life on the island of Ibiza. Most of them expressed a free and playful spirit with flowing, draped shapes, handmade decorations, compasses and feathers. Brand ambassador Giselle is wearing a set of mini skirt and crop top with fringe details, very summery.
Giselle’s pink hair also adds a tropical touch to the campaign. In another photo, she wears a one-sleeved T-shirt, paired with a red Puzzle bag, one of the brand’s signature designs.
Giselle debuted with three members of the group Aespa in 2020. Recently, the singer born in 2000 attracted attention when she changed her hair color to pink in the MV Whiplash , released in October 2024.
The Spanish fashion house chose prints inspired by the rich vegetation of the island. Knitted dresses and tops were pleated and layered, combined with lace linings and trims. The denim designs for women focused on pastel tones, in soft, comfortable denim, solid or patterned styles for men. For example, the knitted set worn by actor Enzo Vogrincic in the photo.
Enzo began his acting career in 2016 in theater. In 2018, he made his film debut with the film La noche de 12 años and the short film Yi (El Río que no se corta) . In 2020, he starred in Noctilucas . In 2023, his film La Sociedad de la Nieve premiered at the closing ceremony of the Venice Film Festival and was nominated for Best International Feature Film at the 2024 Academy Awards.
Summer is all about raffia bags. Pictured here is the Ola design, chosen by actress Sophie Wilde for the Paula’s Ibiza campaign. The house combines traditional techniques, wavy silhouettes and a short donut-shaped chain.
The raffia weaving technique is further demonstrated in the Punch Hole bag made from thick braided rope and paired with a rawhide strap. Pictured here is Sophie Wilde wearing the Punch Hole Hobo, a softer version with a loose crochet weave and leather patch.
The AACTA-winning and BAFTA-nominated actress starred in Talk to Me . Sophie most recently appeared in Halina Reijn’s Babygirl . She will next be seen in Alejandro G. Inárritu’s new film with Tom Cruise and Sony Pictures’ Watch Dogs with Tom Blyth.
In addition to the photo series combined with artists, photographer Gray Sorrenti also takes advantage of natural colors and light-dark contrasts to create depth in still life product photos. He places bags and sunglasses on sand, grass, on the edge of ruins or hangs them on fences… Along with that, natural elements such as dry branches and surrounding fences are also fully utilized, creating a sense of connection with nature.
The new Featherlight Puzzle Mini includes baskets, totes and garden-inspired pouches in brown, red or embroidered with flowers and bees. Handcrafted bag charms in the shape of flowers, tomatoes or beetles are included.
Rainbow footwear includes Rio suede sandals with hand-embroidered raffia, Anagram low-heeled sandals, or Espadrille Petal, recreating traditional Spanish style with a strong Loewe signature. The collection also features prints paying tribute to the American rock band Grateful Dead, alongside fruit and vegetable charms. Denim bucket hats or rainbow beaded models, combined with oversized frames or Daisy Field sunglasses with flowers, are also prominent accessories in Paula’s Ibiza.
