Join Bennett College and Honorary Celebration Event Chair, Erika Alexander, for “A Celebration of Suzanne Elise Walsh, JD: A Champion for Creating Equitable Futures.”
This celebratory fundraiser, on April 17, 2025, 6 PM – 9 PM, at the NC A&T Alumni Foundation Event Center, will celebrate President Walsh’s achievements during her tenure at Bennett and provide investments to support student scholarships and residence hall renovations.
For more than 150 years, Bennett College has been a beacon of opportunity for students, empowering them to lead, innovate, and inspire – locally, nationally, and globally.
“Suzanne Walsh’s leadership has strengthened Bennett College in profound and lasting ways,” said Event Co-Chair NC Senator Gladys Ashe Robinson, PhD ’71. “This celebration is not only a moment to honor her contributions but also a call to action to ensure Bennett College continues to thrive for generations to come.”
LaDaniel Gatling, II, Event Co-Chair, added, “Suzanne has been a steadfast advocate for Bennett College students and the larger community. This event is a way for us to come together in gratitude and invest in the future she has helped shape.”
