Donnie Wahlberg is set to return to the small screen in a new spin-off of the hit show Blue Bloods, titled Boston Blue. CBS made the announcement on Tuesday, February 18, revealing that Wahlberg, who portrayed NYPD officer Danny Reagan on the original series, will reprise his role for the 2025-26 broadcast season.

After relocating to Boston, Danny Reagan will partner with Detective Lena Peters, played by an as-yet-unnamed actress.
