Last week’s episode of “Hell’s Kitchen” left chef Gordon Ramsay irate as both the blue and red teams were forced to shut down dinner service before the end of the night. After sending Michael from the blue team home, Ramsay demanded a bounce-back dinner service from both teams for the next evening.

This week’s episode began with the team challenge of cooking burgers using different types of protein including venison, bison and lamb. After chefs from each team chose the protein they wanted to use in their dish, Ramsay challenged the chefs to work with different ingredients that were written down on slips of paper that he had in a bucket. Ramsay dropped the bucket and the chefs had 90 seconds to sort through the paper slips to determine which ingredients would work best for their respective dishes.
Since the blue team was down one contestant, Kyle elected to cook two burgers — a lamb burger and a dry aged beef burger. Despite Kyle’s determination, he was unable to score a point for either of his burgers and the blue team wound up losing the challenge.
To celebrate their victory, the red team went bowling at “Connecticut’s most luxurious lanes,” High Rollers Luxury Lanes at Foxwoods. Meanwhile, the blue team had to process meat for sliders for dinner service, which included manually grinding the meat and forming it into patties.
