Instead, both actors were dressed in a demure manner, with Dakota – who stars as virginal student turned contracted submissive, Anastasia Steele – covered up in a stylish tan coat worn over a plum dress teamed with nude heels.

In a recent shoot, the on-screen lovers engaged in a passionate smooch against a brick wall while under the cover of darkness.
However, the saucy clinch was swapped for straight-faced drama on Friday, as the stars put their all into the tense scene, walking side-by-side with their faces bearing looks of consternation.

Despite the tension in front of the camera, once they stopped rolling the mood lightened, with the pair looking relaxed among the crew.
Bad reviews for 50 Shades of Grey didn’t seem to deter audiences as it broke box-office records and earned over $571 million worldwide – a hefty return on its estimated $40 million budget, according to Box Office Mojo.
It received five Golden Raspberry Awards – known as Razzies – for Worst Actor, Worst Actress, Worst Screen Combo, Worst Screenplay and Worst Picture (shared with Fantastic Four).
