On the next GH, Laura’s news rattles Sonny. Brennan reassures Carly. And Willow makes a big decision.

Laura’s in a bit of a conundrum thanks to the drama Sidwell (Carlo Rota), Councilman Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove), and Congressman Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) are drumming up. It all comes down to the location of the Esplanade project. The current site of the public park doesn’t work for them. They want to cry eminent domain and take over Sonny’s piers.
So Laura has decided to hold a referendum and let the Port Charles residents vote for the site of the Esplanade. Needless to say, Laura’s news rattles Sonny. He obviously wants to keep his territory in his name. The mayor also may explain how his name will be involved in a scene that she and Jordan (Tanisha Harper) will have to stage in order for Jordan to go undercover with Sidwell.
Decisions and Worries
In Friday’s episode, Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) suggested Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) commit Kristina (Kate Mansi) as a way to get out of her going to jail for a minimum of 15 years. On Monday, it’s Ric (Rick Hearst) who’s contemplating everything that has gone down. When Ava (Maura West) tries to soothe Ric’s worries, is she able to alleviate his stress? He wants Kristina to pay, but he doesn’t want to hurt Molly, and he would rather go to the police than extort Alexis. Because he knows there’s a good chance the blackmail won’t work. Cutting Ric’s brakes clearly leads to chaos, pressure, and frown lines.
Elsewhere, Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) makes a big decision. After a particularly vicious confrontation with Carly (Laura Wright), Willow might rethink moving herself and her kids in with Drew. The video preview at the end of the episode may back that theory up because Willow tells Nina, “I’m scared there’s some truth to it.” Or is she referring to the fact that Carly compared her to Nell (ex-Chloe Lanier)?
Revelations and Reassurances
Speaking of Carly, Brennan (Chris McKenna) will have to figure out how to calm her down after her heinous showdown with Drew and Willow. In next week’s sneak peek, Carly tells him, “I may have just handed Michael’s (ex-Chad Duell) children over to Willow and Drew.” And wait until she finds out that Michael cheated, and because of that one-night-stand, Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) is pregnant. If/when she does find out, she’ll have to fight harder to keep Michael’s children with him.
Finally, Trina (Tabyana Ali) confides in Portia (Brook Kerr), who’s relying on more dirty tactics to take care of the Drew problem. We wonder if her hesitancy with Kai (Jens Austrin Astrup) having this urgency isn’t about the Drew of it all. Instead, Trina doesn’t want Kai put in a. position where she can potentially lose him. Any operation comes with risk, after all. She may be afraid to lose yet another person from her life
