Finn says he won’t bend but we’re sure it’s only a matter of time before he breaks.
Finn made a vow to Steffy and promised to stay away from Luna on Bold and the Beautiful, no matter what. On paper, it makes perfect sense. But in reality? This promise has an expiration date, and it’s probably coming sooner than Steffy thinks! Finn is a stand-up guy, a devoted husband, and an excellent father to Kelly and Hayes. But now that he knows Luna is his biological child, there’s a whole new layer to his identity. It’s one that won’t stay buried for long.
The Clock is Ticking on Finn’s Promise
Finn (Tanner Novlan) is not wired to ignore someone in need, especially when that someone is his own flesh and blood. He can try to put Luna (Lisa Yamada) out of his mind, but the second she struggles needs guidance or gets herself into another sticky situation, his instincts will kick in. He’s just that type of guy.
A Father’s Pull Is Too Strong
Maybe it starts small – just checking in about Luna’s well-being or getting updates from Poppy (Romy Park). But it won’t stay that way. Before long, Finn sneaks around to give her advice, offers up some fatherly hugs, and ultimately crosses a line he swore he wouldn’t.
And what happens when Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) finds out? Betrayal is a sore subject in this marriage, and with the way Finn has struggled to enforce boundaries before (remember Sheila?), Steffy won’t take kindly to him breaking his word.
Will Finn Risk It All for a Father-Daughter Bond?
At this point, the real question isn’t if Finn will go back on his promise – it’s when. He’s too kindhearted, too protective, and frankly, too new to this whole “biological daughter” thing to resist the urge forever. The more he sees Luna around town, the more he’ll want to step in, and the more he steps in, the greater the risk to his marriage.
Could this be the beginning of the end for Finn and Steffy? Or will Steffy find it in her heart to forgive him when the inevitable happens? Either way, Finn’s fatherly instincts are a ticking time bomb. Steffy better buckle up!
