According to Kelly Marcel, who adapted the famous novel series by writer EL James into the film 50 Shades of Grey, Jamie Dornan’s role as billionaire Christian Grey deserves to win an Oscar.

Speaking about the actor’s performance, the screenwriter shared that one of her favorite lines from Anastasia Steele (played by Dakota Johnson) to Mr. Grey was “You are my sweet ice cream.” The female screenwriter added: “After Ana said that, they acted very well.”
Marcel continued to praise the actor: “Indeed, Jamie is excellent in transforming into Mr. Grey, both tough and soft. For an actor, this is quite difficult.”
Fans and critics can look forward to the release of Fifty Shades of Grey on Valentine’s Day 2015 to see if Jamie Dornan’s performance is truly Oscar-worthy or if it’s just Kelly Marcel’s hype for him.
