The 26-year-old actress and singer Matthew Hitt ended their relationship after two years of dating.
A source confirmed on Justjeard : “Dakota and Matthew don’t have many opportunities to see each other because of their busy work schedules. Dakota is currently in Vancouver filming the sequel to 50 Shades of Grey .”
Dakota Johnson arrived in Canada in early March to film. She and co-star Jamie Dornan will take months to complete this 18+ movie because the producers decided to shoot the final two parts: 50 Shades Darker and 50 Shades Freed . Besides the romantic scenes in Vancouver and Paris, the couple also spent a lot of time filming sex scenes. Last month, Dakota confided that she was very tired after working 7 hours on a sex scene .
While Dakota was busy on set, her boyfriend, model and singer Matthew Hitt, was also focused on touring with his band The Drowners. Matthew dated Dakota since 2014, broke up for a few months in early 2015, and then got back together. Both were very private about their relationship.
