Katherine Kelly Lang is one of the original cast members of The Bold and the Beautiful. The actress has been playing Brooke since the soap opera’s debut in 1987. Three decades later, she and her character are still a vital part of the show.
An Incredible Journey
When Lang signed on to B&B in 1987, she didn’t know she’d still be with the show 38 years later. Lang and her character Brooke have become icons in daytime TV. And there’s no slowing down for the actress or the show, which recently celebrated its 38th anniversary. In honor of the milestone, Lang posted a tribute on Instagram.
The actress shared photos of her and her co-stars at the show’s anniversary party. In the caption, she wrote, “What an incredible journey it has been! I’m beyond grateful to have been part of this show since the very beginning. 38 years of storytelling, love, drama, and unforgettable moments. The fact that B&B has reached audiences all around the world and continues to connect with so many of you is truly amazing.”
Lang went on to express her gratitude for the fans. “Thank you for your love and support through the years, you are what makes this journey so meaningful! Here’s to many more years of B&B magic! And of course…more romance, drama, and surprises.”
B&B is still going strong, and fans can expect to see plenty more of Lang. Her character Brooke has lots of drama going on dealing with her daughter Hope (Annika Noelle). Brooke and Hope’s once close-knit relationship might be shattered because of Hope’s role in the FC takeover. Plus, Brooke and Ridge’s (Thorsten Kaye) relationship is still broken. Despite her attempts at reconciliation, Ridge made it clear they were done, and his future is with Taylor (Rebecca Budig). One must wonder what the future holds for Brooke.
