She’s back! Sort of…
It’s been about five months since Kelly Monaco exited General Hospital after her 21-year run as Sam, and now the actress has announced her first post-Port Charles gig.
It’s Time To Be Bad
Monaco took to Instagram to announce her new podcast Bad Bunnies, co-hosted by Shanna Moakler. The trailer features photos and clips of both Monaco and Moakler, ending with what looks to be their podcast logo.
“Buckle up, Bunnies…” Monaco begins the post alongside a bunny emoji and a microphone emoji. “Kelly Monaco and @shannamoakler are teaming up for a brand-new podcast, BAD BUNNIES!”
The name of the podcast refers to Monaco and Moakler’s former time working for Playboy, where Monaco modeled in the ’90s.
“Unfiltered. Untamed. Unapologetic. We’re bringing you Hollywood secrets, wild stories, pop culture tea, and real talk—nothing is off limits!”
Congratulations Are In Order
The announcement caught the attention of several of Monaco’s former GH co-stars, with Kate Mansi (Kristina) commenting, “Ok sis,” while Tequan Richmond (ex-TJ) dropped three brown hearts for his former on-screen sister-in-law. Maks Chmerkovskiy of Dancing With The Stars, where Monaco took home the mirrorball on Season 1 and later competed on Season 15, congratulated her with three clapping emojis, while the post received a like from Monaco’s on-screen BFF Bradford Anderson (Spinelli).
GH fans are already eager for Monaco to spill some daytime tea. “I remember when you were on Port Charles… I would love to hear what that time in your life was like,” one fan wrote, while another said, “I need all the GH scoop.”
While there is no premiere date for Bad Bunnies as of yet, Monaco’s post teased the podcast is “coming soon.”
