The party was also an opportunity to connect and celebrate friendship between women, especially two powerful stars of American showbiz. Notably, Jennifer Aniston and Selena Gomez wore black outfits “tone sur tone”, showing their harmony not only at work but also in everyday style.
Appearing in front of a group of female guests, Jennifer Aniston and Selena Gomez shared their heartfelt stories about their journey to develop their brands. Selena Gomez opened by emphasizing the value of friendship and mutual support between women: “We just want to celebrate women and friendship, and how we always support each other to grow together.”
The 33-year-old star got emotional when talking about her close relationship with Jennifer Aniston: “I’ve known Jennifer for more than a decade and she’s always been someone I admire. She’s always been there for me whenever I need her. It’s great to have people like that in your life- people who are willing to listen and accompany you.”
The friendship between Jennifer Aniston and Selena Gomez began when they had the same management team. Selena Gomez did not forget to recall the memorable memory of the first time she met her idol in 2009 when she was only 17 years old: “I was shaking when I met Jennifer in the bathroom. She greeted me in a friendly way, but I was so scared that I just… ran away. I didn’t know what to do!”, Selena Gomez laughed as she recalled.
Jennifer Aniston also had loving words for Selena Gomez: “She is like a little angel that I want to protect. We became friends thanks to the connection from the management team and since then, Selena has always been a wonderful, warm and lovely friend.”
The “Disney Princess” also revealed that Jennifer Aniston is the biggest inspiration in her acting career: “People often think I idolize Rachel McAdams, but actually it’s Jennifer Aniston who is the reason I love comedy acting. She influences my style and the way I act on screen a lot.”
