NCIS: Hawai’i has added yet another Marvel star to its season one cast, just a few weeks after filming on the latest NCIS spin-off officially kicked off.
Joining the crime procedural’s lead Vanessa Lachey as Jane Tennant, the first woman in charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor, is The Falcon and the Winter Soldier’s Noah Mills and Agents of SHIELD’s Enver Gjokaj. Mills, who Marvel fans will recognise as Nico in the Disney+ series, is heading to Hawai’i as Jesse, a former big-city homicide detective who’s settling in to a new life on the big island.
Noah’s MCU co-star is Enver Gjokaj, who first played Daniel Sousa in Agent Carter before reprising his role for 10 episodes of Agents of SHIELD last year.
According to TVLine, Gjokaj will take on the recurring role of Navy Captain Joe Milius, a high-ranking commander of Pacific Fleet. Joe arrives in Hawai’i when a top-secret experimental aircraft crashes into a cliff, but it’s not long until he finds himself butting heads with Lachey’s Tennant.
As for what else is in store in the upcoming NCIS spin-off, the official synopsis teases: “The first female Special Agent in Charge of NCIS Pearl Harbor and her team balance duty to family and country, investigating high-stakes crimes involving military personnel, national security, and the mysteries of the island itself.” NCIS airs on CBS in the US and on FOX UK in the UK.
NCIS: Hawai’i made waves in the TV industry by bringing in a mix of fresh faces and seasoned actors, but what really has fans buzzing is the addition of Marvel stars to its Season 1 cast. This unexpected crossover has left audiences thrilled, wondering how these big-screen superheroes will transition into the world of crime-solving in paradise.
