February 2025 Performer of the Month on The Bold and the Beautiful: Tanner Novlan Shines!

On B&B, Finn had to deal with a horrifying truth. Not only was his mother Sheila Carter but he now has a daughter, who is just as unstable as her bio grandma. Tanner Novlan made his characte’s fear believable.

While the Hope and Carter coup continued to play out in February, the identity of Luna’s father also became a major issue. This led to the first new Performer of the Month for The Bold and the Beautiful in two months.

The Nominees
The February 2025 Performer of the Month nominees include two actors who squeezed all the emotion out of their characters’ confrontation and an actress who continued to deal with the fallout of her character’s choices.
It’s understandable how Thorsten Kaye’s Ridge could be so angry over his best friend’s betrayal. However, since Carter’s coup went down, the two hadn’t shared any scenes. Ridge stayed out of it while his daughter Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Woods) took the reins plotting revenge against Hope (Annika Noelle) and Carter. Meanwhile, Carter started to make his grand plans a reality at Forrester Creations. But when Ridge showed up at the office and confronted Carter, Kaye and Lawrence Saint-Victor created magic in their confrontational scenes.
As for February runner-up Katherine Kelly Lang, it wasn’t easy to see Brooke Logan pine over Ridge and beg him to return to her. Yet, somehow, Lang, the Performer of the Month for the last two months, always made it work.
The Top Spot
B&B fans had a mission, and they made it a reality when they voted Tanner Novlan as February Performer of the Month. Novlan’s Dr. John Finnegan had an unenviable 30 days. He figured out that he was Luna’s father, and it all stemmed back to one night over 20 years ago.
When Finn realized he could be Luna’s father, Novlan excelled in his scenes with Romy Park’s Poppy. Finn relentlessly grilled her for the truth; all Poppy could tell were lies. So, he did the next best thing and performed his own DNA test. After learning the truth that he was indeed Luna’s bio dad, Finn knew he would have to tell his wife, Steffy. He also knew that this would be the hardest thing he ever did. After all, Luna (Lisa Yamada) caged Steffy and almost killed her. As Finn, Novlan exuded the necessary pain, fear, anger, and worry his character needed. Kudos to Novlan.
