Lucky’s awake, and he’s got a lot to say
Lucky finally woke up from his digitalis scare on the February 27, 2025, episode of General Hospital, and he made an unexpected reveal.
He’s So Lucky
It’s only been a day since Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) fought Cyrus (ex-Jeff Kober) in Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) living room, but he’s been through the wringer. First, he was stabbed with a dose of Digitalis, then almost succumbed to it the way many before him did. With the help of Elizabeth, Isaiah (Sawandi Wilson), and Portia (Brook Kerr), Lucky pulled through and had his family huddled at GH the entire time.
As Lulu (Alexa Havins) sat by her brother’s bedside, she was relieved when he opened his eyes and greeted her with a “Hey, Leslie Lou,” much like he always did when they were growing up. His waking up created a chain reaction of visitors, from Elizabeth approaching him with a kiss (after their first kiss was a letdown) to a grateful Laura (Genie Francis) arriving to see her son.
Like Father, Like Son
Outside his hospital room, Elizabeth and Laura wondered if this scare would change Lucky’s mind about leaving Port Charles. Despite already telling Liz he planned to stay and even getting a job at Charlie’s. Apparently, his mind hasn’t been entirely made up. But now that Liz seems to be fully on board with LL2, that will most likely be Lucky’s ultimate deciding factor.
While Sonny (Maurice Benard) sat with Lucky, he admitted it wasn’t just the people there who were pulling for him. Lucky went on to explain that when he was gasping for air on Elizabeth’s floor and expected to die, he heard his father’s voice: “It’s not your time. Not yet, Cowboy, not yet.”
Sonny assured him that Luke (ex-Anthony Geary) always had the best timing, and judging by Lucky saving Liz from Cyrus, he got that from his dad.
