There could be a number of reasons why Carly (Laura Wright) is suddenly shaken. Although it takes a lot for Carly to experience that kind of reaction, she is dealing with a lot these days, including Michael (ex-Chad Duell) recuperating from severe burns, Drew (Cameron Mathison) trying to assimilate her son’s kids into his life, and her daughter grieving another boyfriend.
An immediate cause of concern could be the fact that under Carly’s watch, Brennan (Chris McKenna) recruited Joss (Eden McCoy) for the WSB. And oh, yeah, there’s the fact that Joss has taken a life. That’s news that would shake anyone to their core.
Warnings and Suspicions
While Carly is busy being shook, Sonny (Maurice Benard) has his own issues to deal with when he receives a warning. Maybe it’s time for Sonny to come face-to-face with Sidwell (Carlo Rota), who is an expert at unleashing thinly veiled threats. If not Sidwell himself, somebody has to be warning him about the guy. That means the source of the warning could be the ex-Mrs. Jenz Sidwell herself, Natalia (Eva LaRue).
Elsewhere, Lulu (Alexis Havins) is suspicious. Now that Valentin (James Patrick Stewart) and Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) are in the wind and Cyrus (ex-Cyrus Kober), the man who tried to kill her, is in the wind (or rather, underground), who’s left to be suspicious of? There might be an opportunity here to learn something more about Brook Lynn’s (Amanda Setton) situation. She had already found out that Brook Lynn and Chase (Josh Swickard) were unable to have a kid together. Does she learn something about Brook Lynn’s past?
Confidential Confidences
Meanwhile, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) counsels Chase in another bro bonding session. However, Chase may want to rethink confiding in his partner and pal, considering Dante blabbed about Chase’s sterility to Lulu. This time, does Chase reveal the details of what his wife told him about having a baby back in the day and giving said baby up for adoption? Or is this more about talking to his friend about fertility options?
Finally, Trina (Tabyana Ali) confides in Stella (Vernee Watson). The art lover and her wise auntie must converse about Kai (Jens Austin Astrup). After all, this week, Trina shared a romantic moment with Kai, which may have made her feel guilty. Stella will, of course, come up with the right words to soothe Trina’s concerns, leaving Trina no choice but to accept that she’s entering a new phase in her life.
