Next on General Hospital
Carly (Laura Wright) is realistic enough to know that Brennan (Chris McKenna) has secrets—he’s WSB, after all—but she doesn’t know anything about his latest doozy. What she and Brennan are focusing on is the quality time they have together. Their slow-burn romance is heating up. As a result, look for Carly and Brennan to discuss their budding relationship. Are these two about to sink or swim?
There’s a chance Brennan might want to suddenly distance himself, considering he is in the midst of recruiting Carly’s daughter for the WSB. Will Brennan purposely sabotage what he has going on with Carly? That doesn’t really sound like him. Knowing him, he and his double life existence will undoubtedly go all in on his relationship with Carly.
Double Trouble
The walls close in on Jason (Steve Burton). Yikes. Does this mean that the PCPD knows Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) is dead, or is this simply about his disappearance? Because that’s the only way to explain why the walls are closing in on him. He shouldn’t have publicly threatened Cyrus as he did, whether it was to protect his son or not. Because if something is wrong with Cyrus, the cops won’t wait to haul him in for questioning.
Meanwhile, Jason’s brother, Drew (Cameron Mathison), is dealing with a different kind of trouble, and her name is Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Nina’s presence irks Drew. Why? Because she’s a constant reminder of how shady he really is? Because she has no time for him? Maybe it’s the fact that he flirted and tried to engineer this “great” romance with Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) while simultaneously sleeping with her mother on multiple occasions. Something tells us she won’t be easy to get rid of.
Connections and Requests
According to the teasers, Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Portia (Brook Kerr) connect. For the record, we’d love this to be about TJ (Tajh Bellow). After all, TJ is Jordan’s son and a doctor where Portia is co-chief of Staff, so she’s his boss. He’s MIA, and it would be great if a couple of the characters mentioned where he is. However, this most likely is about Curtis (Donnell Turner), who is starting to become obsessed with bringing down Drew. Do his current wife and his ex-wife need to compare notes? Or is this about something else entirely?
Finally, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has had to deal with finding out that Sam (ex-Kelly Monaco) was murdered. She may now know that Cyrus murdered her daughter. When Alexis makes a request, who does she ask, and what are the details of this request?
