Sebastian Roché Opens Up About the Possibility of Returning to General Hospital

Don’t rule out a Jerry return just yet!

It’s been a decade since Sebastian Roché was seen as the villainous Jerry Jacks on General Hospital. Now, the actor has revealed whether he’ll ever return to the soap he once called home.

Never Say Never
Roché played Jerry, the evil brother of Jax (ex-Ingo Rademacher, who recently had an update in his lawsuit against ABC) from 2007-2015, a character most notable for the Metro Court hostage situation of 2007, Robin’s (ex-Kimberly McCullough) “death” in 2011, and Port Charles’ tainted water in 2012.

Since exiting the soap in 2015 when Jerry got sent to prison, Roché has held numerous roles on shows like Batwoman, MacGyver, and 1923. The actor recently spoke with People about the possibility of returning to GH.
“I think it’s firmly in the past,” Roché admitted. “It was a great experience, but now I’m really in the creative. We have a lot of plans,” he shared about himself and his wife, Cobra Kai star Alicia Hannah-Kim.
Although, he didn’t completely shut down the idea of Jerry’s return. ”Who knows… Grandpa Jacks,” he joked.

Jerry returning as a grandpa in the literal sense can most likely be ruled out, but you never know in Port Charles. While Jerry was engaged to Bobbie (the late Jackie Zeman) and in a relationship with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), he did have a one night stand with Dr. Kelly Lee (Minae Noji), GH’s notable OBGYN before Dr. Navarro (Christina Ferraro). While Kelly hasn’t been seen in Port Charles since 2017, it’s perfectly possible for the doctor to have gotten pregnant in 2007 and now have an 18-year-old becoming a parent. Thus, Grandpa Jerry Jacks.
