Are there more secret daddies in Port Charles?
There’s been a whole lot of baby daddy drama on General Hospital lately. Between the big reveal of Dante being Gio’s dad and Jason taking the fall as Sasha’s baby’s father, there can’t possibly be any more unknown fathers in Port Charles… or could there be?
Dex’s Dad
While we all remain hopeful that PCPD cutie Dex (ex-Evan Hofer) isn’t really dead, there’s another mystery that remains with the fallen cop: who his true parents are. Very little was revealed about his upbringing, but enough to assume he was the family misfit. Could that be because he was adopted from birth?
After the way he landed in Port Charles acting as a mini Jason (Steve Burton), the best explanation would be that his biological parents are Jason and Courtney (ex-Alicia Leigh Willis). That would make him and his sort-of enemy Spencer (ex-Nicholas Alexander Chavez) brothers, or better yet, twins, if GH pulled a heteropaternal superfecundation situation like Days of our Lives did with Sami’s (Alison Sweeney) twins.
Coming Up Aces
With Baby Ace (Joey and Jay Clay) being the heir to the Cassadine fortune now that his mother is presumed dead, his father is in prison, and his big brother is presumed dead, there needs to be some drama surrounding his infamous family before he’s old enough to claim his Cassadine name.
Insert the big father reveal. It’s a long shot, considering Spencer claimed to not have been sleeping with Esme (ex-Avery Pohl) when she slept with Nikolas (ex-Adam Huss), but what if they were all mistake all along and Spencer was actually Ace’s father? It would definitely throw a wrench in the wheel if or when Spencer returns from the dead and wins Trina (Tabyana Ali) back.
Custody Chaos
Avery’s (Ava and Grace Scarola) custody has been a huge topic for a while now, with a lingering custody battle hanging over her parents’ heads. But now that Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Ava (Maura West) have come to a compromise, could this have all been for nothing?
Avery’s paternity was in question the second she was conceived after Ava cheated on Morgan (ex-Bryan Craig) with his father. Despite Sonny coming out on top as Avery’s dad, if Morgan has actually been her father this whole time, it would change several relationships across Port Charles and make Sonny’s constant battle with Ava all for nothing.
Rockstar Dad
Chase (Josh Swickard) has already been through the who’s-my-daddy scenario when everyone was unsure whether Gregory (ex-Gregory Harrison), the man he grew up with, or Finn (ex-Michael Easton), his big brother, was his bio dad. His mom Jackie (ex-Kim Delaney) certainly got around, having slept with Finn while in a relationship with Gregory, but what if they weren’t the only men she slept with?
The recent John Stamos/Demi Moore reunion has us all nostalgic for the old days in Port Charles, which involved Moore as Jackie and Stamos as Blackie. What if Jackie hooked up with Blackie and created Chase? After all, Chase is a great singer, much like Blackie.
