Every Season of ‘Love Is Blind’ (So Far), Ranked From Worst to Best

We don’t know about you, but we’ve got some hot plans this Valentine’s Day—Love Is Blind Season 8. Yep, we’ll be in our comfiest sweats, curled up on the couch, ready to step into the pods, and watch the chaos unfold.

But this isn’t just any season—it’s the five-year anniversary of Netflix’s most addictive dating experiment! It all started back in 2020, when the rest of us were stuck in lockdown, and hopeful singles were stuck in neon-lit pods. Since then, the show has gifted us with iconic memes, viral TikTok moments, podcasts, and some truly messy breakups.

In honor of the “wood” anniversary (not that kind of wood, cheeky!), we’re ranking every season of Love Is Blind: US. We’re not just counting happy couples—we’re looking at drama, friendships, unhinged moments, and general reality TV gold. So, let’s get into it—here’s every season of Love Is Blind: US, ranked for your pod-loving pleasure.

7. Season 5

Usually, picking the worst season on a ranking list comes with a little guilt. But not this time. We scoured the internet just to be sure, and yep, everyone agrees: Season 5 was a total disaster. It would take a lot for the new season to steal this title.

The biggest issue? There were barely any couples to root for. Only three made it out of the pods: Lydia and Milton, Stacy and Izzy, and Taylor and JP. And from there? It only went downhill. Taylor (thankfully) dumped JP in Mexico after he made rude comments about her makeup—buh-bye! At the altar, Izzy said yes, but Stacy said no, citing concerns over his debt that he conveniently failed to mention earlier. Izzy later popped up on Perfect Match Season 2, where he fangirled over Love Is Blind Season 4’s Micah—only to fail with that blonde, too.

That left Lydia and Milton as the only couple to get married, though they weren’t exactly fan favorites. Their seven-year age gap rubbed some people the wrong way (though, would we care as much if he were older?), but the bigger issue? Lydia neglected to mention her past with fellow contestant Uche until it became unavoidable. Sure, that added a little drama, but not enough to salvage the season.

And here’s the kicker—there were more engaged couples that we never even got to see! Renee and Carter not only got engaged but went to Mexico and made it all the way to the altar before producers cut their storyline. Meanwhile, Paige and Josh supposedly got engaged in the pods, but we never even met them.

But honestly? The real missing piece in Season 5 was the friendships. So much of the best Love Is Blind tea comes from the cast spilling to each other, not just the producers. Without those real connections, the season felt flat, awkward, and—let’s be real—just plain boring.

6. Season 3

The Dallas season we couldn’t forget even if we tried—and trust us, we have tried.

Let’s start with the good from Season 3. Two couples actually tied the knot, and both are still married today! Alexa and Brennon were fan favorites (more on them here!), coming from very different backgrounds but showing a real willingness to learn from each other. They even welcomed a baby girl in July 2024! Meanwhile, Colleen and Matt had a rockier road, starting their marriage while still living separately, but somehow, their unconventional approach worked for them.

Then, there was SK and Raven— easily one of the most surprising couples. They seemed like total opposites but were determined to make it work. On their wedding day, SK said no, but they continued dating. Eventually, they got engaged again… only for Raven to later reveal that SK had been unfaithful. Ouch.

Zanab and Cole had one of the most dramatic storylines of the season. Zanab believed Cole wasn’t attracted to her (and claimed he even told the other guys as much). To make things worse, viewers saw him flirting with Colleen in the Mexico pool, which definitely didn’t help both relationships. Zanab made it all the way to the altar, only to publicly rip into Cole in front of their family and friends. And let’s not forget the Cuties orange drama—which we’re still trying to decode (along with Cole). That said, the season also had some truly emotional moments, especially around Zanab’s grief for her late parents.

Then, there was Nancy and Bartise. They had their highs and lows, though many fans felt Bartise got an unfair villain edit. In the end, they didn’t get married, and he later showed up on Perfect Match before announcing he had a son.

One of the biggest criticisms of Season 3? The cast just didn’t have the same strong friendships we’ve seen in other seasons. The women seemed to get along, but overall, the season felt a little impersonal. Many viewers didn’t even finish watching this season. And honestly? We can’t really blame them.

5. Season 6

Once again, Love Is Blind delivers an unsuccessful run in love but a very successful one in drama. Coming off the disaster that was Season 5, this season gave us five engaged couples—but only two made it to the altar, and just one actually got married. For a moment, it felt like the best of Love Is Blind was behind us, but thankfully, Season 7 picked things up a little.

Alright, let’s talk about these couples.

Brittany and Kenneth started out as total sweethearts, bonding over their passion for their faith. But that passion apparently didn’t extend to each other. Brittany ended things in Mexico, but at least they stayed on good terms.

Amy and Johnny were the ones to watch this season, with their biggest drama centering around… contraception? Yep. Amy wasn’t on birth control, and Johnny somehow didn’t know what a vasectomy was. Despite that, they waited until after marriage and are still going strong, although hopefully not holding out anymore.

AD and Clay? Yeah, not fan favorites, to put it lightly. Clay carried a lot of baggage from his parent’s relationship, and fans were baffled when he seemed to think infidelity was hereditary. They didn’t get married but claimed they’d keep dating while Clay worked things out in therapy. Let’s just say the reunion was tense.

Chelsea and Jimmy, where do we begin? The internet went rampant when Chelsea claimed she had been compared to Megan Fox by strangers—never name a celebrity, girlie! Jimmy was seemingly disappointed when he actually met her, and the pair frequently clashed on matters. For the record, Chelsea is gorgeous! It’s just tough to compare yourself to a celebrity and live up to that image. Ultimately, Chelsea raised Jimmy’s previous sexual dalliance with a friend during filming, and Jimmy felt betrayed by this and ended the engagement.

But the real drama—the reason this season ranks above Seasons 5 and 3—came from Laura and Jeramey. Specifically, the Apple Watch debacle. Easily one of the worst Love Is Blind breakups ever. Jeramey had willingly shared his location with Laura before a night out…where he conveniently forgot his phone at the bar before meeting up with his former pod flame, Sarah Ann. What he didn’t realize? His Apple Watch still tracked him all the way to her place. He denied everything, but Laura was done. And as if that wasn’t messy enough, Jeramey immediately went jet skiing with Sarah Ann in front of the entire cast—including Laura. Brutal. Jeramey and Sarah Ann ended up dating for a year and even moved in together, but unsurprisingly, they split in September 2024.

This season gave us plenty of memes—just not a lot of hope in love

4. Season 2

It was tough choosing between Season 1 and Season 2 for this spot since they both share that same naïve, chaotic energy. But here’s the thing, Season 2 might just take the cake for the most questionable cast. Many fans side-eye this season’s contestants because so many of them have since started podcasts, which definitely calls their original intentions into question.

We like to call Season 5 the most unsuccessful season of Love Is Blind, but honestly, Season 2 gives it a run for its money. Six couples left the pods engaged, five made it to the altar, and two actually said, “I do.” But neither Iyanna and Jarrette nor Danielle and Nick lasted—both divorced in the summer of 2022. Let’s just say that no one was very surprised.

But where this season excelled was in delivering some top-tier reality TV villains. A prime example is Shake. From the start, he blatantly tried to cheat the blind dating experiment, asking women leading questions about their looks (“Do you like going to the gym?”). Then there was the infamous, “Would I be able to carry you on my shoulders at a music festival?”—a real charmer. And let’s not forget when he consistently compared his GORGEOUS fiancée to his auntie (??).

Shayne was also not beloved by fans, as he was impulsive and brash. He famously mixed up Natalie & Shaina in the pods (yikes), then somehow made it her fault by getting defensive instead of just apologizing. He and Natalie made it to the altar, but had a massive argument the night before, leading her to turn him down.

The biggest issue with Season 2? There weren’t many couples to root for—most were either unlikable, poorly matched, or both. But let’s be real—it was wildly entertaining.

3. Season 7

Alright, hear us out—this might be our most controversial take yet.

No, Season 7 wasn’t exactly a successful season of Love Is Blind. That much is true. Things started on a high note, with seven couples getting engaged in the pods. But right away, we lost Brittany and Leo, who weren’t even brought to Mexico. Instead, they took their own trip to Miami (random?), only to break up shortly after. We were heartbroken, not because they were a great couple, but because they were just so damn entertaining. Mr. Rolex had us wheezing, and Brittany was just as hilarious.

Of the couples that did make it to the altar, only two said, “I do.” Taylor and Garrett were the definition of #couplegoals, and his wifey glow-up only sealed the deal. They had almost no bumps along the way and are still going strong. Ashley and Tyler, on the other hand, tied the knot despite some very odd arguments and a paternity reveal. They were hit with major backlash from the public and ended up announcing their divorce just three months after the show aired.

So, while Taylor and Garrett are adorable, they’re not enough to make this a “successful” season. But let’s be real—the drama was piping hot. We were glued to our screens. From duck races giving the ick to sleep-study cheating (WTF even was that?), Season 7 delivered on the chaos.

But a truly great Love Is Blind season isn’t just about the drama—it’s about the feels. And one moment we won’t forget? Watch Marissa sob and beg Ramses to reconsider breaking up with her. She deserves so much better, and we’re glad her mom could come to comfort her.

So yeah, Season 7 was messy, divisive, and not exactly romantic, but it definitely kept us talking.

2. Season 1

Where it all started!

Season 1 will always have a special place in Love Is Blind history. Back in 2020, the concept felt wild, and we still believed that love could truly be blind. While we may have lost a bit of that faith over the years, this show has given us plenty of gasps, laughs, and iconic moments. Let’s start with the OG fan-favorite couple: Lauren and Cameron. These two were solid from the start, and their biggest challenges came from navigating interracial dating and moving in together. They not only tied the knot but became the poster couple for Love Is Blind—and, honestly, for marriage in general. They’ve built a thriving YouTube channel and even co-wrote a book about finding love the modern way.

Then we had the Amber, Barnett, and Jessica love triangle. In the end, Barnett chose Amber, and they just announced they’re expecting their first child! However, some fans remain unimpressed with the financial concerns and flirting with Jessica that occurred during the show.

Speaking of Jessica —Messica (AKA drunk Jessica) — gave us plenty of entertainment, from shamelessly flirting with Barnett in front of their fiancés to kissing Amber to stop an argument to the moment she fed wine to her dog (please, do not try this at home). Ultimately, she and Mark didn’t make it to the altar, and let’s be honest, it wasn’t just because of their ten-year age gap.

Then we had Giannina and Damian, who kept things fiery with their explosive fights—including that time she basically told him he wasn’t good in bed (oof). Damian rejected her at the altar, and in one of the most cinematic moments in Love Is Blind history, Giannina ran out, tripped on her dress, and sprinted barefoot into the forest like a Brontë heroine.

And finally, Diamond and Carlton, sparked some major discussions when their relationship imploded in Mexico. Carlton revealed his bisexuality after they got engaged, which he feared would lead to judgment. Diamond, however, claimed she felt blindsided that he hadn’t told her earlier. Their argument quickly escalated, ending in a thrown engagement ring and one of the messiest breakups of the season.

All in all, this season had it all: a couple to root for, a surprising “I do,” and plenty of drama. Not too bad for the very first season.

1. Season 4

This was another unanimous decision by the internet, and we couldn’t agree more. Season 4 simply offers everything we’re looking for in Love is Blind—romance, family moments, weddings, and just the right serving of drama. Don’t hate us, we’re just saying what we’re all thinking.

The earliest seasons are super wholesome, before contestants realized the show could launch them into influencer status. But let’s be real—sometimes they were a little stale. Season 4 hit that sweet spot where contestants weren’t too self-aware, but also weren’t expecting to leave with a podcast deal and a clothing sponsorship.

And when it comes to success? Season 4 might just be the most successful season yet. Three couples tied the knot—Tiffany and Brett, Zack and Bliss, and Chelsea and Kwame—and all three are still together. Zack and Bliss even welcomed a baby!

This season was also rife with second chances. Irina and Zack got engaged in the pods but that connection crashed and burned fast in Mexico, leading him to go propose to Bliss! She said yes, and somehow they became so adorable it was borderline sickening. But they’re not the only ones. Jackie skipped wedding dress shopping to meet up with her almost-fiancé Josh before ending it with her current fiancé Marshall.

That’s not all. We had Paul essentially dating his mom’s doppelganger, Micah, who has gone on to star in Perfect Match and garner a lot of attention. Irina and Micah were criticized for their mean girl energy in the pods, although we have to admit it kept things interesting. And then that jaw-dropping moment at the altar where Micah made Paul speak first, and he turned her down. When she left crying, he followed, and the internet kept zooming in on him accidentally grazing a bridesmaid’s *cough* backside!

Phew! We’re out of breath, but we stand by naming Season 4 the best season of Love Is Blind: US so far. Will Season 8 top it? We’re heading to Minneapolis, Minnesota, to find out…
